Have you ever thought about making a thermostat output pipe for the S5 FC3S? Because they are made with plastic from the factory.
I have run into the problem of broken plastic thermostat output pipe for the S5 FC3S, Im thinking about making those on the CNC.
The Rails I Purchased use 3/8" NPT fittings and they dont seat flush like the Rail setup in the blog, is this normal?
Yes its normal, the old rails in the blog used O-Ring Port Fittings
The New Rails use 3/8" NPT fittings and tighten up rather then seat flush.
The reason for the change: There are more 3/8" NPT fittings available on the market, like barb fittings and 90 degree fittings.
I'm removing the oil injection from my GSL-SE and these are the only bolts I've seen that appear short enough, although they are only listed for TII models. Are the bolts 10 x 1.25
Yes they are M10 mm Size, 10 mm Length, 1.25 mm Pitch. I also updated the product page with that information.
Which IAT(intake air temp) sensor will be able to fit in the inlet duct? I see that its 3/8" npt. I run a FD IAT Should I just keep both holes plugged and run the temp sensor elsewhere?
The Inlet Duct uses a GM style IAT (intake air temp) sensor thats 3/8" npt. Some aftermarket computers can run different types of sensors. If your computer can run the GM style IAT then you can run that directly to the Inlet Duct or the FD sensor elsewhere, different clips will be needed for different sensors.
